Objective

Melbourne’s 2024 walk included a stroll through some of the city’s iconic buildings including Flinders Street Railway Station and the Royal Exhibition Building.

The event material needed to showcase the uniqueness of the city and the highlights of this particular walk.

  • I started by sketching the two iconic buildings that were the start and end of the walk.

With this in mind, I then fleshed out how I wanted to integrate them together and bring the whole design together,

  • Throughout my design process I was mindful the design needed to Melbourne for our event attendees and also the overseas colleagues who view the post-event highlights.

  • I knew that the two buildings should be the main elements. I focused on carefully considering the other elements so as to not detract from the main design.

The lined artwork helped to create a modern and fresh look to the overall design.
